Yes I`m only a ten minute walk away.

Last night I was sat up home listening to Madness playing live Smile

We will probably pop down to watch the last few races later.

Quote: Great pov...thks for showing the clip too GrinGrinGrin

I just love the effect a sporting event can have Smile

In the film, losing the cup is the catalyst for identical twin brothers Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss to sue the Facebook founder.

The Harvard rowers claimed they invented Facebook, and fought a multi-million dollar court battle with their erstwhile colleague Mark Zuckerberg.

Thanks Chris I was quite happy with the end effect of using a little fill flash, not everyone was happy though Smile

Yes I added the vignette post but did not feather the first one quite enough.

Henley Regatta weeks a bit like Ascot week, big hats and strict dress code Smile

The cheap Sigma 19mm is a really good street lens Chris, I`m well impressed with it.

Thanks all.

If this had been in the main gallery I`d probably have just flicked passed it, the girl would have looked ok in a dance studio but as it is, she`s just not meshing with her surroundings.

As it is, its not really doing anything for me, the stick figure in the doggy position on the rhs looks interesting, not sure why you would want to put a beam of light on it though, or why you left so much of the wall in the shot.

I would have used the light on the right hand side to throw a little more light into the hair and side of her face, perhaps Rembrandt style, a smaller aperture to pull out a little more detail in the girl, and a little less light on the background for the separation.

Not sure if I would have used a softbox either, there great when you want a softer light, but softer light can also soften detail. I might have gone for something a bit stronger, maybe some directional lighting fitted with a grid to bring out more definition in her arms.

Looks like a good location for a few smoke machines and colour gels.

Quote: Brilliant portrait quality to this. Super shot. Like the way the eyebrow whiskers are in the frame

Thanks I was messing with something else, had the x10 in macro mode, and she came over for a sniff, I think she was about an inch in front of the lens Smile

Quote: A beauty. Missing mine

We inherited this one, one of two.

My youngest daughters best friend developed an allergy to cat fur, they had to find new homes for six of them, we offered to take one, but ended up with two.

Two years ago we vowed to never have a cat again after loosing a 22 year old, you do get attached to them Smile

Its a pity the polka dots are not pink as well Smile

If you use hue/saturation you can easily adjust the colour of just the dots, it might not give you pink but I don`t think it would be far off.

But I do like it Smile

The lighting conditions would have been just perfect for some strobist off camera flash stuff.

Its just that the timing was bad, we were scattering my mother`s ashes.

Waist level is good, even better using the touch screen, I can just about manage that Smile
