Lol two weeks in already. I was going to upload something else but got distracted. Had a call from the police a short while ago to tell me they had made an arrest in connection with the attack on my daughter, good news. So I went and grabbed a snap of my street portrait set up, looks a litt...
I `m not much of a gardener and I leave the bottom part of the garden pretty wild :) Its become a bit of an urban wildlife zone, here`s one of many Muntjac`s that have set up home, some days I feed them from the back door, much to the annoyance of the neighbors :) A few days ago there were two...
Its been wet, its been lazy :)
I was a bit of a billy no mates this afternoon and was not in a mood for a street party, lol I`d spent the last 14 years trying to avoid the neighbours :) Well its true snails really do like beer, either that or they too were trying to avoid my neighbours, the second I sat down they were all ove...
A bit of messing today.
Cut through a local grave yard on my way to the shops today, fancied a little lens whacking but the light was not quite right and a little dull, grabbed this as a reference to return at some point.

Found this when sweeping the kitchen floor today, a good job the wife was at work :)
After my previous attempts at IR and problems with flare through the back end of the hood, I came up with a quick solution. A simple black card disk placed between the lens and the adapter. And a quick test, no more flare :)
Day 003 and my first adventures into IR, lol the lens shade designed for the x10 was a total nightmare. Why oh why design a lens shade only to add slots that let stray light in and most of the shots were un usable. This ones been heavily cropped due to excessive flare so ended up as a naff co...
Day 002, got away from the hustle and bustle and sat in the local grave yard, better than any park :)
Decided last night to start a 365 project using my little fuji x10. Here`s a little critter from last night taken using super macro mode.
