Hi Paul,

Well a lot depends really on why you took it. If that was your long lost relative or a Hollywood movie star in the picture then it would be a good photo but probably only to you.

An image has to have appeal to most viewers to generate a good reaction and in this case it is just a few unknown people behind a fence taken through what looks like an archway with a shadowy block on the right and blurred areas on the left. Therefore unfortunately to most people they would fail to see what the point of the image is.

I think that to improve the image you would have to pull back and give the viewer more of a clue as to what was happening to make you want to take this image in the first place. Also you need to try and control the light better as this is taken in very harsh sunlight from what looks like a shaded area. Fill flash and exposure compensation would help here.

Sorrry to be negative but you did ask.

I'm quite happy with the idea - a number of people in a queue with lots of different expressions - thus interesting. Could be a bit sharper I think and your frame - tunnel or whatever it is has a couple of intrusions, one on each side, which are unfortunate.

I was wanted to ask if this was a good or bad image because I was not sure myself.Also it made me think about what does make a good image clear skys, cute animals etc...And I thought if I put it here then I would get more opinions and comments so thank you guys.
