I think there is another image in this scene-- tho I suspect yoou arae reading it as a commentary on your weather---

a square-ish crop of the bottom of the image highlights the lines---tractor tracks--- the blue and brown compliment well!

You've caught it just right - I was out last fall, when we actually had some rain, trudging in mud - my boots all caked up with it. And cold, miserably cold. This speaks of all this.
