I've just bought a Sigma 2X EX converter from a Jessop sale for about 1/3 of normal price - brand new. This is from my test shots with it attached to my 50/500 Dg EX zoom on a Benbo tripod in the back garden. The convertor only works with a small number of Sigma lenses.
The focal length on the EOS 300D body is thus 1600mm! I'm quite pleased with the result and shall be trying the combination on other subjects.
Any comment or advice at such long focal lengths.
Paul
