Lets see what you think to something a bit old after some digital treatment. Shot on a Mamiya 645 1000s with 150mm lens and XP1. Tripod and just window light at about 1/60 @ f8. 645 negative scanned at 2400dpi with Epson 4990 flatbed. Converted to positive and window burnt in a lot. Highlights burnt in. Dark sepia toned with channel mixer in CS3 and smart sharpen.
I have thousands of old negatives and slides - some I've scanned, some not. Don't think I'll live long enough.

Hi Paul,
I love image of a lady in the 60's/70's (I guess) wearing a cotton dress and playing the piano with sun light coming through the window, a good composition. I think I would go the other way to Andy and selectivly lighten the image to try and emphasize the warm day with the sun on parts of the dress and skin. Also slightly straightened using the candle on top of the piano as a guide.
Take care
Martin
Beautiful shot !!!....glad you didn't use fill-in-flash, or reflectors, 'cos it's perfect as it is....lovely 'aura' to this beauty !!!!!
There's a strange sort of 'highlight' on her RH fingers ?, though easy enough to 'burn-in'....other than that it's gorgeous !!!!
