Amazing how calm these nesting birds were,,but then we did keep our distance,,,
Out of curiosity Paul did you add the plastic effect to this,,in Ps,,

Hi Aidan. The effect on the water is done with a filter called pixel bender. The feathers were brought out by painting on various seperate blank layers, using a graphics pen, with black/white to enhance the shadows and highlights and also the details. Tedious but very theraputic Smile

Superb composition combined with shallow dof and processing - giving them that expanse of soft blue ripples to look into.
