Almost too perfect to be true! And that bright patch in the sky in line with the canal could not have been better arranged! Lovely image.

Haha! What a great shot! I've never seen one of those before.Does it have a sense of humour as its expression suggests?

Converting to B&W was perhaps counter-intuitive for a shot of flowers, but you have created a completely different and I think, more memorable effect.

Beautiful image. I really like the softness of the tones. I prefer Version 1. Nicer without intrusion of city buildings!

Distractions by woolybill1

Dunno what's going on but the photo leaves room for all sorts of intrigue to be imagined. Great!

Beautiful collection here Alan! Wow!
Thanks for your comments on my latest upload, "Broken." The softness you mention on the trunk and branches, may result from the conversion for the web and subsequent quality reduction by ephotozine, as the uploaded file was probably a bit bigger than it should have been. The original prints ok at 48.5. cm.

Hello Wefi, Thank you for your comment on my wind turbine photo. I actually took the photo with the deliberate intention of trying to exaggerate the hints that the scene was giving me, especially the constantly shifting spots of light on some turbines but not others. I was trying to make it "unreal" rather than real. I don't think the original photo would attract any interest. But you never know!

Beautiful collection of work you have! Congratulations!

Hello DRicherby,
thank you for your comments on some of my photos a few days ago. I have as you suggested cloned out the ground in the photo of the 4 Nikau palms and uploaded it it a few minutes ago.
Thank you again.
