The inside of a Bee Orchid. Taken in our locality. The yellow droplet (central) is what waves in the wind like a pendulum and attracts the bee picking up the pollen then transfers it to another bee orchid thus cross-pollinating the plant. Isn't nature fascinating?

A well named variety of orchid, and so beautifully captured, Paul: and I agree, nature is amazing the way plants have evolved to ensure pollination and survival, and all the little tricks they have up their floral sleeves.

I used to go hunting for these in the New Forest, mostly without success.
