My cat doesnt seem to be bothered about how close up i go when hes resting, its the camera that stops me gettin any closer.
Took this photo while he slept on the window sill, then altered contrast a bit and made it sepia.

I find the out of focus paw a little distracting too but I don't think it would work without it as you'd lose the whiskers. Very restful image. Great use of a low viewpoint. The toning works a treat.
This is abeautiful image, the closed eye and the shallow depth of field gives it a very personal look at your cat, It reminds me of Willow who was my cat and looked just like this.
