I was interested to see so many contributions from the North West. It was also interesting to read the threads with the photos and it's great to know that there are so many photographers out there. I hope to meet some of you next time I'm home.
It was the Gormleys which originally attracted my attention so I thought I'd share one which I made from shots taken on my visit last summer.
I knew in my mind what sort of a shot I wanted, and was initially disappointed that the figures were so far apart so for me a manip was inevitable. I also was interested to see that the publicity handed out by Sefton Council was also a manipulated shot, presumably for the same reason.
PS. I once had a drink with Antony Gormley and he's a nice guy so I know he won't mind!
