Taken at Waddington, June 2004.
Lancaster Bomber The City Of Lincoln visted by VIP's. Tried a Sepia tone with a bit of added noise to give it an 'in the past' look.
nice toning. the tone and the old car give it a vintage look. not sure yet how i feel about the people in the pic, will revisit it again. click'd
Yes I agree about the people. It's a shame I couldn't paint them out. A couple of those that came were in period dress but I couldn't get a shot of them alone with the car and bomber. :-(
I like the people in the shot, but then again, I would, love the sepia
Nice 'almost' period shot. Not too sure about the ragged border, but thats a personal thing, I like the toning.
This is a stunning shot, well worked, excellent toning, very well presented, how did you get that border effect, it is brilliant, click
I like the sepia toning it achives the period look its a pity you couldn't get a picture without the people.
The border is a one click job from Photoshop Graham. I use an addon called Alien Skin Xenofex 2. It's simply called Burnt Edges
The more I see this picture now, the more I realise those people just don't belong.
Anyway, thanks for the clicks folks.
I've added another similar one today taken on the same day at Waddington.
Great shot, but I'm not taken with the border either sorry.
