A montage made up of museum, model shots and other bits.
The Moon, Earth and Mars were created in Photoshop using Flaming Pear's Lunarcell filter. The Space Shuttle is a photo of my plastic model kit at home. The launch tower is a scan from the box it came in and the smoke is fake. It took me a while to make it look right!
The idea came from a painting I once saw in America along a similar line.

Fabulous montage, gets a click from me.
It's unbelievable how far we've come in the last 100 years, especially when you think about what it was like for the previous 1000+.

Hi Paul,
This pic is brilliant, I can appreciate the work involved. What really surprises me is that only one person so far has commented on it. Gets my click anyway.
Pete.

Thanks to both of you for looking. It took me a fair few attempts to get it to look what I thought was right. I had quite a few more objects in it originally but it was too cramped. Not bad for about 5 hours work!
Cheers!

Great work, and so little recognition, seems a common prob with this site sadly.
