Lovely image.

You could crop the bottom of the photo as it would bring the lions to the foreground giving more impact to the picture.

I think a slight increase in contrast and then sharpened should bring out the detail nicely. I also added a gradient to the bottom of the photo as it was too light imo. This also brings out some detail in the f/g.
