First go at shooting the Aurora Borealis last night (didn't get home until about 3:30.......zzzzzzzzzzzzz)

Am really envious. when I was visiting home (n.Ireland) in March this year I did get a glimpse of the northern lights but no photosSad Check out nightskyhunter.com for any more possible sightings, Martin McKenna is a friend of mine.

Dunluce Castle near Portrush on the North Coast, I took some shots here, Dunseverick (beside the Giants Causeway) & at Ballintoy Harbour.

Many thanks all for the comments, new ground for me & a new set of challenges as looking through viewfinder was almost totally black! had to set camera manually inc focus @ infinity(ish) then take shot then adjust camera/tripod from the back camera postview image.
