Thanks for looking !
that light horizontal sets the composition off, thoughtful image
Very nicely presented.
This looks like a flock or heard. Very cool twist with seeing rocks in this way. Nice angle and b&W. RicoChico
like it works well in b/w
love the shadows! great tones
very ansel adams
Pebbles by name ........
A lovely shot Alethea, lighting, tones and composition are all great, I'll look out for this one in your hut next Christmas ;o)
Oh, I answered your question under my Slow Sunset photo :o)
I would just like to say thank you to those who commented on this one, I am so pleased you liked this one and I am grateful for all your views, and Laura and all of you just made my day !
Hi Alethea, this is absolutely superb and one of my favs of yours, deserves way more attention. Very well done
(not a bad place either!!)
Thanks to those that have clicked and commented, glad you like it, thought it might be of interest to you Mari.
This is wonderful Alethea, I'm also surprised it hasn't had more attention.
Great tones, great choice of presentation and a really interesting picture
Thanks Rob, I wasn't that sure about it, other than I liked it, but its great to have comments such as yours.
Have faith and confidence and keep doing your own thing. This shot is an excellent example, it's a classic and timeless shot and to me is different from the norm, I haven't seen anything remotely similar to this (but that might just be me!) and that lifts it way above the many mundane landscape shots that keep getting re-cycled on this site.
Just great Alethea.
Everyone seems to be having the doubts again lately.
Time for one from the new kit eh!!!
Thank you so much Rob and Brian, your comments mean a lot to me.
I totally agree with Rob, this is a real stunner, it doesn't matter if it doesn't get noticed in the masses of shots on here, it is very fresh and I like it a lot
Hi Alethea, I think this one is excellent. At first I thought it might be somewhere in the western USA. Tonal range is excellent. Nice work.
Great title and a another super shot from the Alethea range
Thank you to my epz fellows for your support, and for those latest comments from Mari, Gerry and Sue.
I think I am going to print out a large one of these and put it up on my wall !
All the rocks make a very interesting fg Alethia. The mountains make a perfect backdrop.
Thank you Louise, much appreciated.
Beautiful clarity on these stones Alethea... good depth leading to the mountains in the background. Crisp exposure.
Thanks for looking Doug.
