Trying to capture the different colours, shapes and textures of this wonderful beach. Worked on it in photoshop, to bring out the colours, and a grad added to the sky as it was too burnt out.
Any comments or suggestions much appreciated.
I love the forground
Lovely detail, Alethea. Love the wet rock and small stones in the fg. Wonderful range of textures.
great shot love the angle.
Lovely shot Alethea, love the wet rocks and detail.wonder where in Wales this was taken.LOL
Nice textures and shapes in the rocks. The only way you'll get sky detail is to use a couple of nd grads on camera, but if the sky was anything like today's it would still be a huge problem.
Nice detail, good composition. Well done Alethea.
Great shot, love the textures in the cliff.
Thanks guys, appreciate all your comments very much.
Gerwyn, I've ordered some - they just never arrived in time (lol).
Well composed Alethea and good detail, good luck with the grads!
Great capture, needs to be viewed in the large version to do it justice, great detail and composition.

Thanks Lyne and Allan, that a compliment coming from two people with superb portfolios.
Nice composition - I like the shiny flat rock and it's nicely framed on the left side, although I might have included a little less of the rock face.
Thanks for taking the time to look Mike.
Superb detail in the rockface and the beach.
Thanks Don !
Just catching up again.....Lovely landscape yet again....Happy to be no.30.....Cheers Sue
Thanks Sue, it finally got there then !
Great image with lots of detail Alethea. Sorry I havent emailed yet. Next thing on my list - I know Im a terrible slacker!!
I know that problem with burnt-out skies only too well, but you've compensated for it well in this image, Alethea. The slight pink of the grad complements the tones of the landscape beautifully.
Thanks Adam and Ian, your comments mean a lot.
