A really nice shot, and a lovely scene.
Its a tad flat, - meaning low contrast due to the brigh light creeping in at the top, and the houses are not quite vertical. A few tweaks with a crop, and adjustment with curves to add contrast and reduce the distant glare can make this "pop" a little more.
Hope this helps
Regards
Willie

A great picture Paul,I prefer it to the others on the Gold Hill web page.
As Willie says, tad flat so I have enhanced it with levels and curves but not to take away the autumnal feel and colour. I do feel it is not as sharp as it could be but it does not detract from the feel of the view. A very pleasant capture.
Great stuff Paul m8. I knew this would go down well. banehawi's edit has done a great job on the verticals and background definition. Post processing is a slowly acquired skill but the beauty of a well-taken base shot like this is that you can always return and re-edit it as your processing skills develop.
