Continuing my recent fascination for 'hand colouring', my latest upload is a variation of an image I uploaded a few days ago. On this occasion I've changed the colour of the flower slightly and by putting a thin colour 'wash' over the background, has changed the colours in that too.

i like the long vertical of the compositon, but think there coould have been a slight looser crop at the top to give the head a little extra room, also the frame does deter my eyes from the flower if the frame was lighter them it would blend in more with the image, apart from that, i like the sharp colours, makes a change from "superb pic"
I like this one a lot, I like the framing but agree with Grainge that a paler edging would enhance the image more. You have somne lovely images in your portfolio, I am astounded that they dont have more votes. Angi
