Fabulous. This is the sort of bird imagery that I can relate to - it seems to be about the 'otherness' of birds. Everything pulls together, the angles (including the bird's beak), textures, the crop. I really covet this one.

Thanks a lot lot Moira.. I saw your images too, and I too can relate with them.. we see beauty and messages in ordinary things.. and i would have shot many of your images myself if i had been in your place.. its a thing common between us ; the way we see things and relate to them.. Thanks..

Thanks Slowsong a lot.. i too felt it the moment i saw it.. i was taking bath in the bathroom.. May is the hottest month in North India.. no one in the street.. temperature 113 deg F.. too bright for eyes.. and such a rugged world as depicted through walls.. there a bird in shade looking here and there restlessly..
I had fitted in my camera 50 mm lens, and i could not get any close.. so i had to make it interesting composition wise.. given the time and other things, i would only say i got lucky..
