Welcome Leona, this is a really nice image and you have captured the water fall really nicely. I especially like the line pattern across the fall itself leading you into the bubbling mass of water. I'm assuming you have used an ND filter to help get the softness in the water. Did you take this as a B+W or is it a colour conversion? I think there may be a nice colour shot waiting to be processed if you used a colour conversion.

Well Done Grin

Welcome from me as well Leona. An excellent first image especially as you class yourself as a beginner. The milky water is not for everybody but at least you are aware of how to do it which is good.

In order to assist you more perhapd you woulf care to give as much info as possible about your uploads, like did you use a tripod here or rest the camera on some rocks? Did you use an ND filter to allow you to have a longer shutter speed? That sort of thing

Hello,

What you have done is good, but a little under exposed I think. Just lacks a touch of impact that more contrast would give. Milky water is very over done at present. Your version is a competant versionbut, for me, lacks an actual subject to focus on.

Paul
