This lovely lady was one of many selling offerings in a Bali Market. I was pleased to isolate her from the hustle & bustle going on around her and Yes, I did buy some of the offerings on my way out later.
As I was preparing this, there was a programme about exploitation in Bali orphanages on the radio. I spoke to many people about their lives and I think all the children grow up & expect to work hard. The most noticeable attribute is that they rarely stop smiling, rich or poor.

This lady looks bright eyed and happy even if only for the camera. But you don't smile like that when you're putting it on.
Dougie
Thankyou kindly.
The market was such a great place for photography and definitely not one for tourists. It was really dark inside and full of hazards that would have the H & S people closing it down on the spot.
But it was full of fresh produce and goods for use in the festivals. I went back three times, much to the amusement of ny guide, who couldn't understand why I preferrred such places to temples & palaces.
