A poppy field in Dorset just three days ago.
Who can resist a sight like this? It was a chance find as I was on my way home from an indulgent afternoon of photography.
I struggled to isolate the campion flowers against the poppies, (just not quite tall enough) but they looked so good I had to try.
Allthough I've ticked digital manipulation the only bit that's manipulated is the presentation.

Thanks for your comments it was a great to see them but I was a bit on the short side. Next time I'll take some steps.

Thanks Paul but not sure about your frame comment the campion flowers were taken against the poppies in camera. I was having difficulty because being short I couldn't get the camera position just right.
Now I've thought about it I have two better ways of doing it, by using steps or putting the camera on a monopod ,use live view and remote.
I'm determined to have another go at it.
Also need to stop the wind blowing.![]()

Thanks.
It was the field behind Poundbury on the Martinstown Road. It started as a field of rape & has all been cut down now.
