I've only just started to find the time to look at my water-vole pictures again after the initial run through.
This little fellow was also eating clover but I'm not sure whether it was a different one from the previous upload. It might be one of the other young ones that were coming & going all the time.
Water voles were were re-introduced to this site and they are monitored but seeing these delightful wild creatures successfully breeding is a great privilege.

Thanks for t's & c's. I don't know about Ratty Doug but there was a grumpy old male that wasn't the most photogenic of the bunch who gave me a good stare, before he had a spat with a female that left him even more tatty![]()
