Autumn Leaves

Autumn LeavesMethod 2 of 2: Biological Detergent
1Choose the leaves you wish to turn into skeleton leaves.
2Pour 600ml/1 pint of water into a large pot. Add 100g/4 oz of biological detergent.
3Boil the leaves in the solution for 30 minutes.
4Remove from the heat. Rinse.
5Use an old toothbrush to brush away the leaf tissue. Work from the central leaf vein outward.
6Rinse again. Allow to dry fully.
7Press between two sheets of blotting paper for 2 weeks.
8Remove. The skeleton leaves should now be ready for use for art and craft. They can be painted for added color if you like.

I hope this works, but I love the ones that you have done. It would be the most beautiful silk scarf. I would buy it.
Just a lovely piece of art work
