Well, some of you wags certainly filled your boots on my upload of 'Lunch 52 - Edu', on Silly Sunday
Rob obviously thinks Edu looks skinny and should be fed more. Just remember when you were 26, Rob (100 years ago ) and had empty legs - you should see how much that guy can put away..!
It's not so much 'stop the Jeep', CarolG, as 'turn the Jeep around', because Lunch is always on the wrong side of a narrow track - and a 30 point turn ensues. After the shoot, we are then facing in the wrong direction..!
Barbara (and others, who have been noted..!) feels sorry for Edu, having to put up with me all day - but you are right, he's calling over on Tuesday, to take us to the Government offices, to get our visas renewed (prayers, please!) - and will be making a bee-line for my computer, to have his day of fame & read your comments..! So Thank You, Alex, for enquiring if he gets a bonus for spotting each Lunch image - that one's going to cause me some real grief..
Some of you were concerned about what Edu had stuck in his mouth - "witchetty grub", "albino snake snack" and a "whistle" were featured - I think some of you have very vivid imaginations..! At least Nezih, who is old and wise, ( like me ), was thankful the banana was not the full size 'Del Monte' version..!
Ed (not to be confused with Edu..!), our silver tongued EPZ Wordsmith, had a lot to say for himself. Nothing unusual there, then.. his Comment was longer than any of my narratives..! He went on and on about Jeeves & Wooster, Crocodiles, Lions, Rhino & Buffalo - and Golf (waste of a good walk, Ed) - and then said I was barmy..!
Keith, I have the feeling that Edu could indeed sort out a whole lot of things that are wrong with the world, including the FA - couldn't we all, at that age?
Thank you for all your humour, I loved every single Comment (except Ed's, of course - Oh, and that Alex is really in trouble, now she's cost me £££'s ).
The male Purple Grenadier is a 5" long Waxbill, who lives in thickets and bushes. It is extremely difficult to get a clean image of him, due to his habitat, but I did my best, although I am disappointed that he was so deep into some open grasses - which is what he was enjoying for Lunch.
V2: Notice the shape of his lower mandible - ideal for stripping grasses of their seeds.
V3: Is to show a little of his back, which is grey.
Have a Magnificent Monday..!
