Good morning.....
Thank you for your votes and comments on my bugs yesterday and to TrevBatWCC for his UA, so chuffed as I am not good at bug images...
A change of scene today, we started off our trip staying on the shores of Pelican bay on the outskirts of Walvis bay, a haven for pelicans, flamingoes and an assortment of other bird life. There are thousands of flamingoes on the bay, but only with dashes of pink feathers.
I live flamingoes, I watched them for hours. It looks like they are dancing. They move their legs back and forwards loosening up the sea bed then dive their heads underwater and come up with juicy little crabs.
V2 is another silly sign I saw in Namibia and thought appropriate for silly Sunday
V3 ....maybe the sign wasn't so silly after all
The first time I have used my new lens....boy is it heavy
Have a nice SundayGrinGrin

V3 explained only the 4 x 4 condition not the others, below
But I like the flamingo reflexions, they are like a sketch, drawing hatch. I'd try a cutout abstract only with reflections in water
Continue to have a nice trip in Namibia!

The flamingo doesn't look too happy about what it sees in its reflection, Colleen!
Love that word 'perpetrators' on the sign, and the driver in v3 is obviously one of those arrogant types who believes that signs and instructions apply to everyone except him.

Good documentary set from this site, and the only thing missing from the warning is "No People": for sure, the driver in V 3 was either blind but more likely just displaying is belief that he/she knew better.

Lovely shot of the flamingo. My sentiments on V3 have already been mentioned by Ed (Glostopcat) you always get one! Years ago BC (before children) I spent my time in the police, before traffic wardens, and we used to say that some would park in the shop doorways if they could!

Nice photo of the Flamingo, Colleen. This is apparently one of the Greater flamingoes, as the Lesser flamingo has a lot more pink. At least, the guy (or gal!) helps keep the police in business! (heh heh) Regards Martin

That flamingo looks like,he is admiring himself in the reflection in the water. A most unusual, pose. A great image, Colleen

As to the others.......we saw 4x4s totally stuck in the sand in the Sahara Desert in Tunisia. They will get out of places......and they will get stuck worse.
