Went for a wonder with the camera killer, thought I'd try this marco lark as I had the lens and a tripod on me.
Managed to get a drop falling which was nice, not my usual field of dabberling so feel free to offer any insights you have.

Ok, here goes Bud.
1. Im not a macro worker so cant advise on lenses etc.
2. This would be hard to do I would imagine, especially getting that water droplet.
Love the DOF and the background is blurred but its sort of distracting. I dont know, could you fix that in PS
Where it needs to be sharp it is, but quickly goes off, what about a tighter crop.
Just that one frozen peice and its little drip. Then I reckon it will be a much better image.
Great to see us BOTH getting out of our comfort zone. You seen my latest PS disasters lol ![]()
