Went for a wonder with the camera killer, thought I'd try this marco lark as I had the lens and a tripod on me.

Managed to get a drop falling which was nice, not my usual field of dabberling so feel free to offer any insights you have.

#cheers

Ok, here goes Bud.

1. Im not a macro worker so cant advise on lenses etc.

2. This would be hard to do I would imagine, especially getting that water droplet.

Love the DOF and the background is blurred but its sort of distracting. I dont know, could you fix that in PS

Where it needs to be sharp it is, but quickly goes off, what about a tighter crop.

Just that one frozen peice and its little drip. Then I reckon it will be a much better image.

Great to see us BOTH getting out of our comfort zone. You seen my latest PS disasters lol Smile

Like the idea and that you got out of your comfort zone. I'm not so keen on the close up though (sorry Lee!) doesn't seem sharp enough for that, although it seems fine in the big picture
