Taken at Paderborn air show Germany on the 28/08/10
The Stork was a German ww2 STOL (short take-off and landing) fulfilling numerous roles as a reconnaissance aircraft.

Know Paderborn well as My Son was Sennelager for 4 years and married a local girl, the colours are strange but a great angle.

@Lynne, thank you for your comment Smile

@Trev, Greetings from Paderborn, with regard to the strange colour I looked at German colour photos from ww2 and found that some have a slight greenish tint to them but were noisy. I went for the greenish colour but without the noise.

Foot note, We were fenced off from the aircraft so had to shoot through the fence, and I have to say that the Stork is not one of the most friendly of aircraft to photograph...lol
