A hot muggy day, & this plant in the garden was alive with Hoverflies.....so I set the camera up on the tripod, to capture the two flower heads together, & waited, & waited some more !
The little blighters would not settle on my two flowers !!!!......so to lure them I dripped a tiny drop of Honey onto the yellow centres, & waited again......after a minute or two, the LH
fly appeared & while I took a shot of him, the second fly turned up on the RH side.....took a few shots of them both, at different apertures & focusing, & this image was the best of them,
with both flies sharp.....yippee ! So I got the shot I wanted, & the flies got their reward of the honey......sorted, & chuffed !!!...................
Thanks everyone for your feedback on 'End of the Beginning' ,......much appreciated !!.![]()

You have far more patience than I do, Keith, and what a neat idea, so glad you are pleased with the result.

Great stealth sed here a honey trap I think it's called. There seems to ba an awful lot of these wee beasties this year or maybe I'm just more aware of them.
