This is the West Pier in Brighton, taken last April from a friend's yacht, and one of my first efforts with Photoshop - the original was washed out and dull as dishwater, so I went a bit mad with the contrast control. I understand the pier's now been put out of its misery.

It is a bit dark, especially the shadows beneath the pier. To be honest, I didn't know what I was doing!
