I like this photo as the eyes are very mesmerising, i tried to get multiple effects with this photo and the prime subject is the eyes. I made them red to suggest evil, and the black pattern on the eyes suggests hypnosis, i put the surrounding areas of the eyes through an effect in photoshop elements which i cannot remember the name.

This is a wonderful piece of work. I like the way you've totally filled the frame with the cats face (she looks beautiful) and as you say the red eyes do make her look quite evil.

If you had the time, perhaps a few finishing touches would be to use the 'Dodge' tool at 100% and zoom right in so you can use it one pixel at a time - then carefully go over each of the hairs across the eyes (the eyebrows/whiskers). This would give the effect that the red is 'natural'! Wink You could also use the dodge tool (at perhaps 25%) and try to find the catch lights (you would have to keep zooming in and out to make sure they still looked natural). It's the tiny details that turn a brilliant image into something special! Grin
