179 (196)I've just returned from the local pub. I arrived there at 20:20 and, without a reservation, asked for a table. The barman said they were busy and it would be about 21:00 before we would get served. Not a problem...so 21:00 came then about 10mins later our order was taken, but the food didn't arrive until 22:10. Nearly two hours! Is that a record for the longest wait from asking for food to being served? I must say the food was excellent (all home cooked) so it was kind of worth the wait, but...

I think I would have walked out by that point!!
Me and my friend went for dinner last week and as soon as we walked in the greeter announced they were really short staffed! So we sat down and we ordered drinks, which we waited 30 mins for..i went up and asked, then I had to go back to the front and say we were ready to order!!
The food was alright, but in true british style i didnt complain and didnt ask for my meal to be compd lol!!!
