Held the details in the shadows well, but for me its the depth of the image given a) from the rock and b) from the light.

Made me really look through the whole shot.

I'm not normally a landscape person but this is very good. It gives me the sense of passing to the otherside. The wifes parents live not far from here in Eyam. Its a stunning part of the world. I might try and get up there to do some 'wild' shots. Won't be telling the in laws though!!!!!!
