thank you all so very much for you kind comments on my last upload, funny that i moaned about not getting out and then to find myself on the beach for a lovely sunset earlier. got there just in time to see the last of the sun going down behind thick clouds, out of the 40 shots i took i combined two exposures to get this image, the rest will go in the trash as nothing else worth keeping.

This is beautiful.....I like the use of a slow shutter to give the water movement.
A lovely splash over the foreground rocks, Ant, which are nicely aligned with the setting sun.

Well was worth going to come home with a cracking seascape like this
I'm moving backwards, can't help it! Just love that foreground water.
Happy to bring up the half century for this beautiul coastal sunset. You did well to get this Ant with Durb and Patch getting under your feet!

Weather/sunsets can drive us mad!
Nice timing with the wave breaking over the foreground rock. Good use of shutter speed too, to add that movement without overcooking it.
If I may make one suggestion however, the shadow areas are a little 'heavy'. If you are going for the 'dark and moody' feeling then fine. However I wonder if lifting these areas a little may help?
