Sunrise at Loch Mor, near Dulnain Bridge. I balanced on a raft of floating vegetation (the bank) while my forward two tripod legs sank 4ft into the water. It was a bit unnerving, rather like standing on a sinking trampoline!
Been struggling to get good light recently or even get out due to a busy period at work. Off on my travels shortly so I apologise in advance for the impending lack of clicks and comments; I will catch up on my return Smile

That sky is stunning Al and its tones are superb, excellent depth to the shot but the immediate fg is a little dark it just needs an open Lilly flower and it would be perfect.....still a gem though

From your precarious perch you have managed to capture this scene so well, Alan: looks as if the light levels were difficult to handle, but exposure is spot on.

Clarity in depth, Al, and the mass of green makes a lovely contrast to those gorgeous sky tones. You must have been keeping very still, no discernible ripples at all. Jeremy makes a fair point and my only 'but' would be the half-cut lily pad (not you) in the front left Smile A real beauty, would love to have captured this.

Thanks Ant, Isabel, Jeremy, Andy, Rod, Ronnie, Bill, Dave and LuDa Smile Great to get such a nice reponse to my first upload in a while. I agree about the lack of a FG flower but that was a stretch too far for me tripod, or my arms! Grin I think they don't open up into full bloom until the day brightens up.
