Running out of decent images from this shoot, but I thought this may be worth an airing.
The FG is excellent but the boat and left hand sky a bit distractingly bright. It's a great set up though and I wonder about an abstract square crop where the mooring line leads to the reflection of the boad (which is perfectly exposed) and you lose the actual boat and the sea/sky? Just a thought and probably a bit quirky but that FG and reflection are just so good!
Looks a lovely day for a paddle, Derek!! The composition is very well worked out and the foreground has so much of interest in it. The rope/chain looks a little over-sharpened though.
Beautiful composition Derek. I can see what Almiles means by the light side of the boat being distracting, but it also gives the image a certain dynamic; the eye is whisked from the cable past the boat into infinity, which I quite like
Very good !
super shot derek love the forground leadin
I'm with Rende on this , great processing too as usual
Beautiful work as usual, Derek. I think this looks great as a squared crop.
Like your comp and the details in this Derek
I like the composition and light Derek. I am back in Uk for a month. If you plan to photograph poppies/lavendar/ or london city please let me know and I will join you for the day.
Hardly scraping the barrel though Derek!
