On our first evening on holiday we decided that as it was cloudy down the Glen, we would take a drive down to Castle Stalker...........where it was still a bit cloudy, and it was high tide! However, ten minutes before sunset the light show began.. just when I was considering packing up and going back to the Clachaig!

Beautiful rendition of the sky and water but I think I would prefer this without the pier in the foreground.

Phil.

Good lead in and unusual for images from this point because you reveal the lines and stones under the water for added impact. The clouds are sweeping beautifully but for me what makes this one of the best Stalker images is that you have retained colour and detail in the castle. So often it's a sihouette and gets lost in the image whereas here it makes a great FP. Great image! Smile

Thank you Nathan, Billy, Mike, Richard, Anne and Al Grin

Al I think that was luck as although it was sunset, and usually the castle would be silhouetted, the skies went quite weird and there was light from behind too bouncing on the clouds - poss that which has "reflected back"?? Smile
