Taken today at healey dell, where i had my first meet with some fellow epzr's,a freindlier bunch i couldn't wish to meet,so thankyou everyone for making me feel welcome, and to keith (kban) for the invite in the first place it is very much appreciated.
Now the confession.....this shot is not the one that i wanted to upload but after getting home today and down loading my pictures a vast majority were out of focus, which i couldn't understand then after looking at the photo info i noticed the focus on my camera was set to manual.....and i couldn't remember having to manually focus any shots i must have accidentaly switch from auto to manual....not as good as i thought eh !!!!!! never mind we are supposed to learn from our mistakes aren't we
or am i just a pillock.....look good on the camera anyway.
This is the best of a bad bunch so many thanks for taking a look.......peter

Had the same thing happen last week on a beautiful frosty morning. - all out of focus as somehow I had acccidentally moved a button. So I am not alone.........and your tale is rather reassuring!
Gorgeous shot though
Helen
Excellent image Peter. It happened to me too Peter. Sometime, we were overpowered by excitement. We forgot to check the little details of our camera that causes a big awful things.

you may have a few duff shots but no matter you have excelled with this one, a really good shot very sharp and good colours - you cant tell until you get home and see your efforts on the PC I sometimes have the same thing, they look good on the camera until you get home but be consoled you didnt lose out altogether and may be good to know your not alone (as you say) we all make mistakes - I have gone out with out my pic card before now
I have seen so many images of this place, each very beautiful and each different. Lovely composition with nice autumn feeling.
Johanna

As someone said to me yesterday, try putting a liitle more water in the whisky. LOL
A lovely presentation Peter in spite of the problems.
Geoff.
Great shot Peter and love the movement in the water and the light and colours.
I commiserate with the manual focus; I once shot half of a zoo trip before realising the camera was set for very low res jpeg - just need to laugh at ourselves and make sure we don't make the same mistake twice ![]()
