I can see that the techies would find fault with your image, without me looking I am sure that if I looked at a histogram of your image I could see "faults"; for myself aestheticism will always supersede technical content and I enjoy your high key approach to the admittedly oft photographed Rydal boathouse; your presentation is different which I much prefer to the modified images.

I enjoy images from the tops of fells, mountains call 'em what you will particularly as the photographer has made extra effort to get there; great view Grin Grin

so called street photography can sometimes seem confusing due no doubt to background clutter but I like this image and it doesn't matter to me in the slightest that you have posed it; it looks authentic; I particularly enjoy your mono version.

"Jollyjocky" sorry just noticed your post; the only Sigma lens I had an issus with was the 24-70mm in terms of rendition of detail and sharpness; although just about acceptable it was way behind the marque lens.

HTH! Peter.

Quote: You evidently have a somber attitude to photography.

Sombre actually; however you couldn't be more wrong.

Herbert, what Malta lacks in square miles it more than makes up for in quality of scenery, history and people and your portfolio is so reminiscent of that lovely island; stunning pictures Smile
