Munch

Munch by BrianPointon

This cat has potential - beware that he might start charging for future 'appearances' :o)

As a Silver tabby (identical to the Whiskas packaging) I must ask mine to allow me to photograph him...I wonder what his agent will charge me? :o)

Remnants Of Summer

Remnants Of Summer by chris-p

Sumptuous, striking, involving...

An image to put in your 'best of the year' folder :o)

Congratulations.

Helvellyn & Fence

Helvellyn & Fence by gnospellius

Love it! Very envious.

Perhaps the fence was ideally too much of a focal point - maybe stepping/pulling back would have given an alternative BUT you may have lost the great long shadows/tones from the LHS & the beauty of the peaks/fells in the background...

I need to buy myself some crampons! :o)

Are the Michelins your using? :o) (Joking!) I'm a fan of these kinds of images...a good example.

Drifting Snow

Drifting Snow by MalcolmM

10/10 It's a deceptively simple monochromatic image that 'speaks' to the viewer... I can feel the cold, the muted sounds of barking, the snow plopping off the branches,,,, Very atmospheric.

The Rock

The Rock by xinia

I light balance across the frame. Good composition. I agree with comments on the reflection & if the light had struck the rock as well.... :o)

Green moss

Green moss by Vixs

Very interesting concept - not sure about the sloping horizon on the 'top' image & the centralisation of each subject, but the overall concept is good. Thanks for the treat!

Abel Tasman

Abel Tasman by HowardA

Been there, fell in love with the place & didn't want to leave.... If you don't know South Island have a look at Andris Apse work too. :o)

Great image.

Old shed

Old shed by yellownoise

I like it - I wonder if it was less 'cropped' if it would improve with some increased space around the shed & its mechanical debris?

Telephone Pole Clip

Telephone Pole Clip by TheImagepoint

A very good 'subject' with saturated colours, textures & lighting... how would it have been if it had been a portrait orientated image perhaps?

Simply Symington

Simply Symington by simon butterworth

I'm #50 voter - a rich & well observed image. Top draw.
