Perhaps the fence was ideally too much of a focal point - maybe stepping/pulling back would have given an alternative BUT you may have lost the great long shadows/tones from the LHS & the beauty of the peaks/fells in the background...

10/10 It's a deceptively simple monochromatic image that 'speaks' to the viewer... I can feel the cold, the muted sounds of barking, the snow plopping off the branches,,,, Very atmospheric.
