A 100 mile round trip to the Planting Fields Arboretum at Coe Hall in Westbury was a wonderful experience this morning. Soft light filtered throught greenhouse glass and this one flower just caught my eye. Moving around for the best view, I was able to isolate this gem against a white window pane. With lady luck and trying to keep the depth of filed as shallow as possible, the image became white on white. Sometimes. things just have a way of working out for the best.

wonderful high key exposure, the delicate stamen stand out so nicely. Really, one of your finest pictures.

Now if you don't mind the suggestion: the green tones look washed out and 'posterized', maybe an overdose of levelling applied. So if you have a closer look, try again masking of this area before hitting command-L (levels) or command - m (curves). If it was already in the original picture, try a polariser next time or dodge it a bit in Photoshop.

Yes your technique was excellent on this one. I love this type of composed shot. The other similar one is monochromatic. Well done. WesternRed.
