Today would have been my Dad's 72nd Birthday, he passed away suddenly three days ago, and we are all missing him so much.

You have all been very kind and supportive with your messages, and my Mother read all the comments today which gave her added strength to help ease some of the pain.

As a family we went ahead and celebrated Dad's birthday, with a full Sunday lunch as we would have done any other day.

So many little things happened today, which made us feel that Dad was with us celebrating, including the visit of his little Wren to the garden.

Funnily enough we call it Dad's little Wren despite the fact he could never see it!!.

Many a time I would be round with Mum and Dad and notice the Wren in the garden, we would pointout to Dad that his Wren was there and he would frantically search in the direction we were trying to indicate to him, but he was also too late to see her before she flitted off elsewhere.

Today as if by appointment she arrived and posed for a number of shots, allowing me to get a good close up of her, so I hope you can see her now Dad!!

Happy Birthday Dad, Love you.

This is a cracking Wren image Phil. How amazing it seems that this Wren should put in an appearance like this on such an occasion for your family.

Thanks again everybody, been a tough few days but I've found that being able to just take a few minutes on here, and express my thoughts and feelings through words and pictures has really helped me a lot.

I will try to catch up with everyone sometime during the week.
