Been off line for a while, PC crashed and had to go for repair, back up and running now....with no loss of data thankfully!!!!.
Must get on and finish off backing up my files.
Whilst been off line, i managed to finally catch a head on shot of a kestrel hunting, I have a number of shots but I like this one the best due to the blur on the wing tips, shame they were not quite symmetrical.

what a stunning shot, the detail, and the lighting is superb...

Lovely shot. Who cares about symmetry anyway? Obviously the Kestrel doesn't.
Oh my, love those tail feathers all fanned out with their black tips.....and everything else about it. Took my binoculars out all this week, so have been watching my kestrels, what a pleasure it is.
A terrific inflight capture, it looks like he's got his beady eyes on something down below
