A Sandwich tern returning to the nest with fish dinner for the chicks, taken today on Brownsea Island, in the Poole Harbour.
A liitle upset that I just clipped to end of the wing taking the shot.

Nice pale colours and wing shape. It's a shame about the wingtip, but it doesn't detract too much from the photo.

I didn't see the wing tip until pointed out. I was just amazed at the other detail and the fish in the birds mouth. First class image.

Yes, it was a shame one wing escaped the frame... but the rest of him is very well caught, and at the speed they go...! I still have to get my 'in-flight' shot and I've been trying for years! A lovely catch (both of you!) Smile
