A change of direction for me tonight from my usual uploads, trying to develop an all round photography approach.

With a big nod in the general direction of Nick (Godders) for the inspiration and idea for these shots, here are my first attempts at an indoor shoot using Fruit, lemonade and a macro lens.

I would welcome any thoughts, advice or comments on the success, or otherwise, of these two shots.

The first is a Lime, the second an orange.

Thank you for looking.

Phil

V1 has worked extremely well, with light through the lime and bubbles everywhere. V2 doesn't have the clarity on the fruit and I also feel the fruit takes up too much space. What I DO like about V2 is the orange along the top line.

I prefer V2, but only because it's brighter and bolder. They both have their merits.

I think the lime looks better because of the space the image has on the left. Also, I think that it is better because the water has more detail on it due to having more backlighting brightening the fruit.
