In the secret Garden, away from the prying eyes of the Humans, the fairy kingdom came together at the annual Ladybird's Ball.

Elves, Pixies and Fairies danced and sang all night long, putting aside their differences and celebrating the change of season into Autumn.
Even a few unruley Goblins couldn't dampen their spirit's as the day turned to night, and the Elven King took centre stage.

All were unaware of the presence of one lucky human, who managed to capture their activities under the spreading toadstool with his trusty camera.

You can see them right?.....can't you?......you must be able to see them??.........or maybe being around these Fly Agarics too long means their Hallucinogenic properties are taking their toll on this photographer.

Thanks for looking, I'm off to lay down.

Phil

Another superb shot Phil, lovely to see one with the mantle still intact, it's worth a click just for the imaginative story you provided.

A female agaric, with that skirt?
Of course I can see them, so I'll have a lie down too.
This is pure magic.

like the skirt on this one!

Not only is it so sharp with such perfect reds, but I really like the glimpse into the background. And still the BG is not distracting at all.
