I have come across a field with a handfull of poppies in flower, but plenty of flowers waiting to come out, I think if they all appear at once it will be a wonderfull sight, and I intend going back to check in a few days.
This shot shows one of the early openers, looking a little windswept in the strong winds, with a couple of the others "in waiting".

where where please tell, I have been looking for a poppy field for 2 years now - splendid shot
Love the way you've caught this beautiful specimen in the sunlight which accentuates its vibrant colour. I haven't seen a decent poppy field in Gloucestershire for several years now
