A slight change of tack for this evening's upload.
Moving away from the Garden Birds which I have featured a lot recently and heading out on the water, to a lake at a local country Park.
This is a Male Pochard, one of the diving ducks that can be seen on our waters, and I captured this guy amongst a small group of Tufted Ducks with whom they tend to hang around with.
the creamy white colouration of the water was caused by the reflection of a structure in the lake, and I like the effect it has given and the way it shows the lovely deep chestnut colour of the birds head.
