Firstly may I thank you all for the comments left on my recent uploads from my visit to the BWC.
A very big thank you to Steve and Johanna for their personal awards on my images of the Fox and Harvest Mouse, and of course to Pete for the HC on yesterday's Highland Tiger (Scottish Wildcat).
Sticking with the BWC theme I have an Otter for you this evening, I was in two minds which of these images to upload, so I have put them all on!.
Again my aim was to use the chance to be in the enclosures with the animal to try to make the shot's look as natural and in the wild as possible.
Hope you like them.

Thank you for looking

Phil

3 top class images.
Good detail, colours and composition in each.
I look forward to going there next year. If I can get any shots as good as these I will be well pleased.

3 beautiful shots Phil, I have never seen an otter in the wild but I do think they are lovely creatures, you have caught them excellently. Great work.

Three stunning captures Phil. I think what makes them stand out in a class of their own is the low viewpoint from which they are shot. I envy your skills

Thank you Mike, I am honoured to get your personal award.

I was very lucky to be able to get into the animals enclosures on our visit, we were on a workshop with Wild Arena, and my bin liner came in very handy to allow me to lie down on the ground to get the POV I wanted without getting too wet!

thank you again, and also to everybody that has voted and commented, I appreciate it very much.

Being inside the enclosure and using a low pov have produced amazing images of the otter, Phil, what a wonderful photo opportunity. Glad you've mastered the binbag trick. All lovely, but V3 is my favourite.
